Service crashes in relatively small projects also.
For a workaround, use Metro Javascript project for code and this only for debug, works like charm...
But this project need more work...
Comments: Is this a crash that brings down VS? Do you get the opportunity to send the crash info to Microsoft (if yes, please do so). Next time this happens, please look at Event Viewer, in Windows Logs/Application, to see if there's an error entry for the crash. If so, there should be useful stack information in that entry. Alternatively, if you find a consistent repro, that would be great. Also, which version of VS? And which build of NTVS? (Alpha or DevBuild)
