Wow - That's great to know. Thanks for the details. I will upgrade to the latest tools.
For now, I was able to fix the issue manually.
Thanks a lot guys. VS tools have been a great help. Without it, it would have been a lot harder for me to develop my app.

Hi ggrav,

Since Beta 2, several changes were made to improve cloud services scenarios. It now works more like it does with .NET, if you are familiar with that. You can check out the improvements in the latest NTVS dev build. You'll have the best experience with Azure Tools v2.4 (installed with Azure SDK for .NET 2.4).

When you create the solution and choose Azure Cloud Service, you'll get the secondary wizard dialog that lets you pick what kind of role(s) to create and add to your cloud service. You can pick any number of web and worker roles. In the solution, you can right-click on the Roles node in solution explorer and add new roles or add existing roles by picking an existing project in your solution. You'll notice that we automatically update the cloud service definition file with a role is added.

I tried to right click on the solution and add a second cloud service to it (along with some worker and web roles) and that seemed to work fine.

Hopefully you'll find that it's easier to work with cloud services with the new build.

Hugues
