Created Unassigned: Catalog retrieval aborted - npm.cmd not found [1019]

when i right click on npm it gives me this dialog and says Catalog retrieval aborted - npm.cmd not found.


and also i get Node.js does not appear to be installed. Please download and install Node.js or configure a projects properties page so that it points to where you have installed node.exe.

this message in Node.js interactive window
