I have a project using GIT SCM and with node_modules committed that takes about 1min to be loaded on my surface pro.
During usage, the memory consumption of the devenv.exe process slowly rises from 1GB to 2Gb (and then I have to restart it...).
If I move node_modules to the parent directory, the project load time is fine.
The node_modules directory is generated starting from the package.json attached.
Any hint?
Comments: I am seeing relatively bad stability since working with the Node.js plugin as well - specifically with the JS editor. If I attempt to modify any JS code whilst running (and sometimes even _without_ running) node under the debugger the memory usage just sky rockets to around 3GB! I love the plugin, however, I have actually reverted to using Notepad++ for the time being it's so bad :( Haven't installed the latest Beta version though, can you confirm whether any memory issues have been addressed?
